Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 15, 2026

This page lists cookies and similar storage used on virgent.ai. It is part of our Privacy Policy. Use Cookie settings in the footer (or the banner on first visit) to allow or reject analytics and advertising cookies. Essential cookies do not require that choice.

How we ask

Until you accept, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager advertising tags, and Vercel Analytics do not get storage consent (Consent Mode defaults to denied). A first-party cookie named virgent_cookie_consent stores your choice for 12 months.

Essential

  • virgent_cookie_consent — your analytics/advertising choice. 12 months.
  • virgent_session_id — HttpOnly session used for form abuse limits. 30 days.
  • virgent_admin — staff admin session, HttpOnly. Only after admin login.
  • virgent_verified_gate — short-lived gate after email verification.
  • vc_popup_dismissed, vc_popup_subscribed, vc_popup_magnet, vc_lead_form_submitted — remember that you dismissed or completed a form so we do not nag you. Up to 1 year.
  • Chat localStorage (session id and recent messages) — so the widget can continue a conversation in this browser. You can clear site data in the browser or use Clear in the widget.

Cloudflare Turnstile or Google reCAPTCHA may set their own cookies when a form uses bot checks. Stripe and Cal.com set cookies on their domains when you check out or book.

Analytics (off until you allow Analytics)

  • Google Analytics 4 (G-NQX8XTKLTZ) via gtag, and tags that Google Tag Manager (GTM-KB9PM458) is configured to fire as analytics.
  • Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights.

These help us see which pages are used. IP addresses sent to Google Analytics are requested with anonymize_ip.

Advertising (off until you allow Advertising)

  • Google Ads (AW-16653689192), including conversion and enhanced-conversion tags that may send hashed email or phone after a form or booking.
  • virgent_attribution — first-party copy of UTM parameters and click IDs for up to 90 days so a later form can still credit the campaign.
  • virgent_ec_email — short-lived (minutes) email cookie used only to complete an enhanced conversion after a verified submit, and only if advertising cookies are allowed.
  • Google Tag Manager tags configured for ads and remarketing.

Session-only attribution

We may keep campaign parameters in sessionStorage for the current tab so a contact form can include the landing campaign even if you have not allowed the 90-day advertising cookie. That storage goes away when the tab session ends.

Your choices

  • Cookie settings in the site footer, or the banner.
  • Browser controls to delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may break forms and login.
  • Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com for Google ads personalization.
